"Know that Life is not fair, and you will fail often. But, take risks and you will succeed"
Hannah Brudnock is a passionate and driven actress, singer, and performer with a bright and bubbly personality. She was born and raised in Tempe, Arizona to a family that is equally as passionate about theater, film, and the arts! Hannah loved singing and performing since she was little. She participated in theater and choir all four years of high school, discovering a craving for being on stage. Unsure of whether she should fully commit to a degree and career in Musical Theatre, Hannah spent her final year of high school answering that question. Deciding there was nothing else in the world that felt right enough, Hannah was grateful to be accepted into the Music Theater and Opera department at Arizona State University.
Halfway through her degree, Hannah has learned skills to help her thrive in her career. She works on the proper technique to sing with Gordon Hawkins, a critically acclaimed baritone, performer, and professor. Understanding the depths and history behind music theory, learning to convey a character’s emotions through physicality and vocal color, being able to tell stories from various eras of Musical Theatre, and understanding the history behind each are some of the skills Hannah is absorbing while getting her degree.
A few of her favorite shows from college include Steve Martin and Edie Brickell's Bright Star where she played the young and
passionate book-lover Margo, the reserved and curious disciple singing By My Side in Godspell, and the omnipotent and ever-changing Narrator in Fly By Night. Hannah was involved in several New Works at ASU like Carmel Dean’s Well-Behaved Women where she portrayed one of the feminist activists part of the anonymous 1980s group "The Guerilla Girls." A year later, in the heat of the pandemic, Hannah was fortunate enough to be part of Nayika, a new musical written by Vaibu Mohan and Raiah Rofsky. One of the two performances was staged at The Phoenix Theater Company! (The Nayika album can also be found on Spotify). More recently, Hannah was thrilled to be involved in the New Works reading of The Valley written by Eric Fegan and Jamie Maletz.
Dec 30 - Feb 13: Hannah will be performing in The Hale Centre Theatre's production of The Hit by Mike Buckley in Gilbert, Arizona!
